Product Description

Model: DIYM255HPW04D07

The MRCOOL® DIYM255HPW04D07 is a high-capacity 55,000 BTU 6-zone DIY® mini split system engineered for homeowners who demand professional-grade comfort, flexible zoning, and long-term energy savings—without paying contractor installation costs. Built around the MRCOOL® DIY® 5th Generation double-stack 6-zone condenser, this system delivers powerful, inverter-driven performance using next-generation R-454B refrigerant for improved efficiency and environmental compliance.

This configuration is ideal for homes that need balanced zone control, pairing an 18,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler for bedrooms, offices, or medium living spaces with a 36,000 BTU wall-mounted air handler designed for large open areas such as great rooms, basements, workshops, or garages. Installation is simplified with DIY® QuickConnect® pre-charged line sets, eliminating vacuum pumps, gauges, and refrigerant handling altogether. The included DIYPRO® cable removes the need for electrical conduit while protecting system communications from UV exposure, moisture, and pests.

Once installed, the system integrates seamlessly with the MRCOOL® Smart HVAC Controller®, allowing you to control each zone independently from your smartphone. Set schedules, fine-tune temperatures, monitor energy usage, or operate the system hands-free using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Comfort-enhancing features such as Follow Me® temperature sensing, Gold Fin® corrosion-resistant coils, and quiet inverter operation make this system a premium, long-term HVAC solution designed for real-world performance.

This is a true DIY® multi-zone heat pump system built to scale with your home, reduce operating costs, and deliver contractor-level results—installed on your terms.
