Shot's Flight Deck all-in-one flight and shaft, No. 2 standard shape.
Shot design and machine their equipment in New Zealand, and the Flight Deck is their answer to the one-piece — flight and shaft moulded together, so there is no joint to work loose.
The standard No. 2 shape is less common on all-in-ones than the slim cut, so this is the one to look at if you want the reliability of a moulded piece without giving up the drag a large flight provides.
Shot quote 19.2mm for the shaft section rather than the assembled piece.
Supplied as a set of three.
Available in Short (19.2mm), Intermediate (25.2mm) and Medium (31.2mm). Lengths describe the shaft portion rather than the finished piece. The longer options stabilise the dart and flatten its entry, the shorter ones make it faster and more direct.
Shapes available are No. 2 and Kite. A larger shape catches more air, which steadies the dart and lifts the tail; a smaller one lets it run on faster and flatter. No. 2 is the larger standard shape, carrying the most drag and steadying the dart most; Kite keeps a standard-width top and reduces the lower half, sitting between standard and slim.
