Taylor Academy 22e
Acoustic Electric

Compact Taylor comfort with clear amplified response

The Taylor Academy 22e is designed for newer players who want a comfortable instrument that still delivers the feel and sound quality Taylor is known for. Its Grand Concert body keeps the playing experience approachable, while the solid walnut top and layered walnut back and sides produce a warm, focused voice with clear note separation.

Built for easy playability

This model pairs the Taylor Neck with a built-in armrest to reduce fatigue and make longer practice sessions more comfortable. The shorter scale and compact body size also make it an excellent choice for players who want a more manageable acoustic electric.

Ready for practice or performance

With Taylor's ES-B electronics onboard, the Academy 22e stays natural and articulate when plugged into an amp or PA. A built-in digital tuner adds convenience, and the included gig bag makes transport and storage simple.

Why choose the Academy 22e

This model offers a smart balance of comfort, dependable electronics, and musical walnut tone, making it an easy choice for developing players and seasoned musicians who want a compact Taylor acoustic electric.
