LAB POINTS

• high-end audio CD transport for detailed playback of music CDs + USB inputs

• OLED Display with CD text support
• servo control system to ensure stable disc rotation
• temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) is used as the master clock
• part of Mission's hifi ecosystem, the 778X, 778S, and 778CDT form a complete, modular hi-fi stereo that's compact + stackable
• includes remote control

• note: this model does not have an RCA output, instead it features digital outputs (coaxial or optical); it must be paired with a component that has a DAC

"Beyond disc playback, the 778CDT also supports USB-HDD music playback, extending its role as a versatile digital transport. High-resolution audio files stored on USB devices — including FLAC, WAV, MP3, WMA, and APE — are handled using the same precision clocking and low-noise architecture as CD playback, ensuring consistent performance across physical and locally stored digital media." - Mission
